Commission Rates:
$1- $200 = 30%
$201-$500 = 15%
$501-$2000 = 10%
$2001-$5000 = 7%
$5001- UP = 5%
Unloading/ Set Up Labor, Photo taking labor: $25 minimum, $17.00/hr. cost
of gross sales receipts resulting from auction, setup fee, labor preparation ($25minimum charge & $17/hr.) dumpster fees ($2.00/lot if any) will be deducted from the gross sales receipts. Seller agrees to pay all expenses of labor preparation ($17/hr.) and/or other expenses involved in conducting the auction.
- Items will be placed into lots, numbered, photographed, and uploaded into an online only auction.
- No reserves are allowed except on vehicles, tractors, or larger equipment. Except for items agreed upon by the seller & Auctioneer or auction staff ($25 buyback fee/item).
- Any item that did not sell can be disposed of by the auction company ($2.00/lot); items can be returned to the estate.
- Consignors: We do accept Consignments of all kinds but retain the right to refuse any items.
We are equipped with crews to pack, load, haul, and store your items in preparation for an upcoming consignment auction. Leave the work to us and we will simplify the process for you.
Arrangements must be made in advance to use this service, please call the main office at 618-424-8001 to request a staff member to view your items and discuss a price. Fees for this service include the pickup fee determined by a Lehde Auction representative and sliding scale commission rate on the sale price of all items (contact Lehde Auction for information).
The second option for handling the sale of ‘non’ real estate-related items is an on-site auction. These auctions are held only if warranted and determined by auction company staff to be the appropriate method of selling your items. On-site auctions will only be held if the quantity and quality of the items warrants a private auction.

We are proud of being a small enough company to offer customized and personalized service, yet big enough to offer all the proper equipment, systems, and staff to effectively run a successful auction.
A customized solution will be developed, with your input, to produce the best return on your assets. On-site auctions are offered, as well as On-Line Auctions. Our computer systems, mobile office trailer, PA systems, multiple trailers, trucks, auction topper trucks, tents, & signage, provide the resources necessary to set up and host an exciting and productive auction.
In addition, on-site auctions will offer the Online Bidding feature, thereby expanding the bidder base and producing greater results for you, the seller. Buyers will be able to bid from anywhere in the world on auction day.
Being an executor or co-executor of an estate can be quite overwhelming. Many executors do not know where to begin or where to turn. Much of the founding business and continued growth of Lehde Auction Service has been from handling estate situations with ease, professionalism, and compassion.
The personal property can be handled in two ways. An on-site auction is deemed appropriate in certain situations where the quantity and quality of the items warrants a private auction. This decision is made by auction company personnel. Terms for on-site auctions are determined on a case-by-case basis, as on-site auctions vary greatly in content, type, location, and degree of involvement needed by auction company staff.
As an alternative to an on-site auction, our monthly multiple estate and consignment auction works best in many situations. Most auction companies have gone to a monthly or bi-weekly large consignment auctions, as they generate a larger pool of buyers and therefore better return for the sellers. A pickup service is offered by Lehde Auction which allows family members to identify items they want to keep, and our crew will pack, load, and store the remaining items to be sold at our next monthly auction.
